Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter (1974) Original Trailer

This underrated gem is being aired tomorrow on Svengoolie.  I haven't seen it in quite some time, so this should be fun.

50. The glorious Ghost Busters 09-12 review!

This show just grows on you, even if the humor is ever so corny most of the time.  The actors just make it much better.

When Tae Kwon Do Strikes 1973

I have seen this once before, I think from Sinister Sinema, in "sinema-scope" back in the day.  I remember liking it.

949. The spectacular Space Ghost merch review!

I had a lot of fun with this episode!  Space Ghost rules, that is all I gotta say.

Villain of the Week- Mr. Mind

From Wiki- Mister Mind is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, primarily as an enemy of Captain Marvel.[1][2] Created by Otto Binder and C. C. Beck for Fawcett Comics, the character made a cameo appearance in Captain Marvel Adventures #22 (March 1943) before making his full first appearance in Captain Marvel Adventures #26 (August 1943).[3] Mister Mind is a two-inch alien caterpillar-like being of high intelligence with telepathic powers who usually carries out his villainous plans through an organization called the Monster Society of Evil.[4] The Society made its debut in Captain Marvel Adventures #22, and the resulting "Monster Society of Evil" story arc continued for two years in Captain Marvel Adventures, ending with issue #46 (May 1945).[5 Back to me:

948. The ideal It Came from Beneath the Sea review!

This is volume two, as the first one was done over 700 episodes, and was not on YouTube.

The Tourists Blind Among the Flowers On the Old Grey Whistle Test

I knew that Dave and Annie had been in the Tourists, but I had only seen their cover of "I Only Wanna be With You" before.

947. The superior Sym-Bionic Titan FINALE review!

It is a sad day here, as this is the final Sym-Bionic Titan review, and the series remains unfinished as of this writing.

Calvin and Hobbes Monday 03-09-1986

I wonder how long it took Mom to realize that Calvin was trying to sell the family car.

946. The neon Night Stalker (1972) review!

It is hard to talk too much about this movie, so we concentrate on a different aspect of it!

945. The risky Royal Warriors review!

Once again, I forgot to set this up from last night.  Alas.

Juken Sentai Gekiranger

once more, It rises from beneath the Sea!

I will be re-reviewing this movie shortly, since it was done on the Spotify-only days.  That was over 700 episodes ago, nearly two years!

944. The fond Flight of Dragons (1982) review!

In which X7 re-reviews The Flight of Dragons (from way back in the Spotify only days) and quite enjoys the whole movie once again! Dragons, magic, ogres, heroes, princesses, what's not to like? NOTHING! Let's soar into it!

ABC's Movie of the Week Intro - Night Stalker Trailer

Produced especially for the Movie of the Week!  I still can't believe I missed thisin 1972, but I was only seven...

943. The grand Ghost Busters 05-08 review!

This is a fun show.  It is super-silly, but the cast really gives it their all.

Royal Warriors 1986

This is an Academy Award® winning Michelle Yeoh movie I have never seen.  It is pretty good, and fun to see Hiroyuki Sanada as well.  Still, with his family showing up in Hong Kong, one can guess what is about to happen.  I am nearly 30 minutes into the movie, which tracks for the oncoming tragedy.  Spoiler alert (2hich should surprise no one):

942. The supreme Strange Change Machine review!

I love this toy, and the story of the history of it.  Sure, it was kinda dangerous, but that was part of the fun!

Villain of the Week- Deadpool

Yeah, I know, ol' Wade Wilson is a very popular character.  And the movie Deadpool and Wolverine was quite funny.  But he wantonly kills lots of people.  In this one movie alone.  Perhaps he is not as obnoxious in the comic books.  I don't know.  The excess of the 90s in his costume says he probably is, though.

941. The royal Rhubarb of 1951 review!

This is a first- a review of a movie about a cat who owns a sportsball/baseball team.

Luciana Paluzzi in Captain Nemo and the Underwater City

From Wiki- Captain Nemo and the Underwater City is a 1969 British film directed by James Hill and starring Robert Ryan, Chuck Connors and Nanette Newman. It features the character Captain Nemo and his submarine Nautilus inspired by Jules Verne's 1870 novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas. It was written by Pip and Jane Baker.[2] back to me:

Jon Astley - Jane's Getting Serious (1987)

"And I could get serious, too..." Jon Astley is an amazing songwriter.  This song got used in a... ketchup commercial, I think.

940. The sharp Sym-Bionic Titan 13-16!

OK, how do we get a petition to get this show finished?  If Family Guy can be revived, why not a far superior show?

Calvin and Hobbes 03-08-1986

This is the first time Godzilla is referenced in the strip.  I was about Calvin's age when I met Godzilla for the first time.

939. The scenic Swamp Thing review!

Good ol' Swamp Thing!  His cinematic career isn't close to his comic book career!

Deadpool and Wolverine 2024

I just started watching this movie last night.  I have not watched the first two, since I am not much a of a Deadpool fan.

938. The tangled Ten Tigers of Kwangtung review!

Real heroes, probably a very embellished narrative.

Octus vs Mutraddi swamp monster

Octus is the most powerful of Team Titan.  His abilities are so vast and vague as to make him near omnipotent.

937. The hearty Hobbit of 1977 review!

Lemme know what you think of this movie!

Swamp Thing 1982 trailer

Sven is airing this tomorrow, and it has been at least three decades since I have watched it.  Or the sequel.

936. The groovy Ghost Busters of 1975 01-04 review!

Here we go, a show that was a throwback to comedy series from the 50s and 60s, only with a supernatural element.

The Ghost Busters logo (1975)

This logo was used for both of Filmation's Ghost Busters series.  It does make the ghost look pretty unhappy!

935. The magical music of Hobbit 1977 review!

This is mostly about the music of the 1977 The Hobbit!  We do like it overall.

Villain of the Week- Hugo A Go-Go

Hugo A-Go-Go is a mad scientist and the main villain of the cartoon series Batfink.

He is a blue-smocked and wild-haired man and is referred to as "the world's maddest scientist" and spends his time in his "secret" laboratory creating weird and wacky inventions (including at one point building himself a robot bride complete with robot mother-in-law) to defeat Batfink and dominate the world.

He somehow manages to escape jail every time when caught to antagonize the hero in a later episode. The cheerfully demented little villain often breaks the fourth wall to talk with the narrator.

934. The savvy Space Monster Wangmagwi review!

This movie sure is something.  I am not exactly sure just what, but here's a review!

Adrian Belew - intro + Oh Daddy

This fun song is from 1989, so Audie- Adrians's daugher- is now probably in her 40s.

933. The superb Sym-Bionic Titan 09-12 review!

I am really happy with this episode.  Great show, we get a lot of backstory, and more character development.

RIP Sam Neill at 78

This is going around now, and it appears to be completely unexpected.  Most people know him from Jurassic Park and I am one of those most people.

Calvin and Hobbes Monday 03-07-1986

Do kids even break house windows with baseballs any more?  This was THE cliche for about fifty years.

930. 7 Lively Song Friday

How did I forget to post this last week?  I quite enjoyed making it, and listening to the songs!

932. The vivid Village of the Giants review!

Yep, I liked this far more than I thought I would.  It was just fun, and silly, and the villains got their comeuppance.

Village of the Giants (1965) Trailer

I think I have watched this movie once.  I am 96.5% sure of it.  I do not remember much about it though.

929. The superior Spider-Noir finale 07-08 review!

This is a great series, well worth the time to watch.  I sure hope it gets a second season.

The Dinosaur Scrapbook review- Special Edition!

OK, so we had some tech issues with ClipChamp yesterday, and I had to redo the episode.  The only audio I changed was the end bit, though.  However today I was able to create the original version.  This has become a special edition which will be viewable on Patreon.com some time in the near future.  It will be the first time I put a price on it, though, which is kind of exciting and scary to me.  It will be a test, only a test, at this time.

928. The delightful Dinosaur Scrapbook review!

Aside from the tech stuff that happened (we lost some trailers, alas) this is a fun book!

Villain of the Week- Metallus

From The Villains.Fandom Wiki- Metallus first appeared in the 1960s Space Ghost series. There he appeared as a galactic space conqueror who had an armada of killer robots and missiles ready to invade a nearby planet, but was thwarted. In another episode, Space Ghost's pet monkey, Blip, removed Metallus' head to find that there was nothing underneath. He later joined the Council of Doom to help destroy Space Ghost, but ultimately failed.  Back to me:

927. The clear Captain America of 1979 review!

This is a decent movie, cursed with having to be an origin story.  It could have been better.

The Smithereens - "Behind The Wall Of Sleep" - Saturday Live (21-03-1987)

I liked this band in the 80s, but in the last 15 years that has turned to love.  What a great band!

926. The super Sym-Bionic Titan 05-08 review!

In which X7 reviews four more episodes of Sym-Bionic Titan, and they are all pretty darn good, even if one features racing. Will we see that car again? Place yer bets and let's roll!

Calvin and Hobbes Monday 03-06-1986

I did rig some "traps" on occasion, but mostly it was a large rubber spider that would fall onto someone opening the door.

A Legend of Dinosaurs and Monster Birds 1977

Well, I am going to review this movie in the near future.  I sure love this poster.  I have an odd relationship with this film, I'll tell you what.  Some people love it.  Spoiler:

925. The invincible Invisible Agent review!

This is an early superhero movie that doesn't get recognized as such.

924. The sweet 1776 review!

Released in 1972, this movie is still pertinent today.  Perhaps even more so.

Spy Quest title card

If you think I don't love this title card, well, you gotta another think coming!

921. The fond Flash 100 Page Super Spectacular 22 review!

Yes, another comic book review!  This time it is one from 1973, which was a pretty influential year for your young agent.

Villain of the Week- Dr. Zin

Dr. Archimedes Zin (yes, he does have several first names, but I do like the Future Quest version best) is the only recurring villain from the original Jonny Quest series.  He is also an expert in the realm of science, and has some kind of agenda of his own.

920. The leafy Little Shop of Horrors (1960) review!

Feed me!  Audrey, Jr never adds Seymour once in this movie, though.
