Sven- The Invisible Man's Revenge (1944)

Robert Griffin, killer, blackmailer and worse, wants his fair share of diamonds, and more.  The not as bad but still pretty awful Herricks drug Griffin and pitch him outside.  He is taken in by the hilarious Herbert Higgins (Leon Errol) and some invisible hijinks ensue.  Oh, Dr. Peter Drury (John Carradine) is the kook that turned this Griffin invisible.  He also figured out how to make his dog visible again, so Griffin uses human blood to do so as well.  It all ends poorly for this nutter Griffin, who was psychopathic before becoming invisible.

This is an adequately entertaining movie, but it isn't great.  Leon Errol made me laugh a lot, and I hope he got to keep the dog, Brutus, a large German Sheppard.  It is more of a crime drama than a sci-fi thriller.  The invisible effects have all been seen before as well, losing the novelty of seeing them once again.  I doubt I would watch this movie again.

Next week- 13 Ghosts (which is fun)
