Some fifteen years ago, I asked the question why this movie had not been fansubbed. I think some ten years ago or so, it this happened, because I had a copy of it for many years. I had watched it on VHS way back in the 90s, and liked it just fine. It really isn't too difficult to figure out, even in Japanese. It is the story of how Taro was trained to become an elite Ultra Warrior. All in 93 minutes or so, which is counting the long credits. It is a good movie, with lots of action, and only one small child (Taro himself at the beginning of the movie. In fact, no humans are even shown!So there is a lot of action, and a lot of stock footage. It works well, even if they re-write some of the timelines here and there. It does start the "gigantic monster for all Ultras in the movie to battle" at the end, but this one is a suit, at least. This will be reviewed for the podcast in the near future.
