713. Revisiting Romy and Michele's High School Reunion! 1997

This is such a fun movie, even if the ride can be triggering.  Sorry if so!

The Mummy's Tomb (1942) - Theatrical Trailer

The second Mummy movie after The Mummy's Hand, this one stars the great Lon Chaney, Jr.

712. Kikaida eps 21 24! Pink Armadillos?

Yes, Mitsuko, there is a Pink Armadillo!  She's deadly, sort of!

711. A fond look at Movie Monsters #1 (1974)

This zine had so much potential, but alas... Poor Atlas/Seaboard.  They could have been a contender!

Hero of the Week- Platinum

From DC Fandom.com- Platinum is a liquid metal robot made of platinum with almost limitless shape shifting abilities. She was designed by Dr. William Magnus a brilliant robotic expert along with along with five other robots: Gold, Mercury, Iron, Tin, and Lead. These robots were known as the Metal Men.  Platinum was often referred to as "Tina" and was infatuated with Dr. Magnus, who never reciprocated her affections. Dr. Magnus tells her she has a faulty Responsometer which he believes makes her act like a real human woman. Her personality is very fiery and tempestuous and she gets very jealous whenever Doc has a date and will happily try to split them up and get his attention back to her. She has a personality clash with Mercury, the other hot head of the Metal Men. Back to me:

710. The Saga of Viking Women and a Sea Serpent! 1958

This is a movie I think I would have enjoyed back in the pre-video days.  It is a fun adventure movie, and has a sea serpent in it!

Unit 3 & Venus Pajama Party

Yet another song I have never heard before.  Lots of B-52's vibes, but also different enough.

709. Series Finale: The Savage Dragon 25-26!

I like the series, but probably won't watch it again, since once is enough.  Could have been better, sure.

Calvin and Hobbes Monday - 02-03-1986

I'm with Calvin, and bushels, pecks, etc, just are confusing.  Weights and measures should be uniform.

708. Takin' a Dive with The Warlords of Atlantis! (1978 review)

This movie works really well overall.  It is very pulpy, yet very original, at least as far as movies go.
