Samurai Jack Season 5

FINALLY!

Fifty years have passed, and Jack is not aging.  The time travel has affected him thusly.  He has lost his sword, but Aku does not know that.  Aku is suffering depression.  Elsewhere, a woman has given birth to septuplets who are trained to only kill the Samurai.  Jack has continued battling evil, but is also depressed.  When the septuplets find him, he fights them thinking they are robots.  He is not prepared when he finds out they are human when he kills the first one.  He saves the final one, Ashi, and takes her with him.  They overcome their differences, find his sword and had to the final battle with Aku.

I have finished this wonderful series.  I started it ten years ago, but at least had the excuse that the show went on hiatus for about four years before it finished the show up.  It was worth the wait.  This is a show I will watch again, due to all the homages and jokes.

There are only ten episodes, and while the very end is rather predictable (by the Gods, I hate time travel) I did not see a lot of the twists here.  We do have a new voice for Aku, as Mako had passed on before this final season.  The new guy did a fine job, but still had a slightly different voice inflection.  It is a great show.
