War-Gods of the Deep (1965)

Mysterious goings on are happening off the coast of Cornwall.  Sadly, it is not Pendragon this time.  Here is the gist of the plot from Wiki- The plot concerns the discovery of a lost city beneath the sea off the coast of Cornwall. Price is the captain overseeing a group of sailors who have lived there for more than a century where the peculiar mix of gases has allowed them to extend their lifespan.

My brother and I were very excited to see this movie at 3 AM or so back in the 70s.  It had gill men in it!  We liked the movie, but it was not a great movie.  Part of this was the print, the time of the night it was on, and being broadcast over the air.  The age of our Zenith telly probably affected the viewing as well.  

The cast is good, the movie is gorgeous (viewing it now) but the plot is meh.  It was hard to feel bad for the villains, and the heroes weren't exactly smart.  I Was glad to be able to see it again, but probably won't watch it for another fiddy years.
