Ninja in the Dragon's Den (1982)

 

From Wiki- Ninja in the Dragon's Den (Chinese: 龍之忍者) is a 1982 Hong Kong martial arts film directed by Corey Yuen in his feature film directorial debut, and written by Yuen and Ng See-yuen. It stars Conan Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada and Hwang Jang-lee. The film was released theatrically in Hong Kong on 24 June 1982. Me again:  I think I got this on a bootleg DVD the first time I saw it.  I read a review and wanted to see it.

Happily I was not disappointed in the movie at all.  There is a small amount of juvenile humor in it, but it is actually part of the plot.  So at the end it works in our heroes favor.  The fights are good, and not under-cranked too much.    The wire work is used to enhance the fights, and it is done well.  Great movie!
