From Wiki- Dear Brigitte is a 1965 American DeLuxe Color CinemaScope family comedy film adapted from the 1963 John Haase novel Erasmus with Freckles. Starring James Stewart and directed by Henry Koster, it is the third of three family comedy vehicles for Stewart that are directed by Koster and written by Nunnally Johnson, following 1962's Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation and 1963's Take Her, She's Mine. The title character, Brigitte Bardot, makes an uncredited appearance playing herself.
I
had never heard of this movie before, but someone posted it on Bill
Mumy's page, so I found it and gave it a go. I laughed, it was charming
and silly and quite gentle. Sometimes that is all you need to enjoy a
movie. This was right before Lost in Space, and Bill was a great actor
even then. More on tomorrow's podcast!
