Prehistoric New Zealand

What is it with artists picking on my beloved plesiosaurs?  While I am sure this scene did play out in real life at times, I am also sure it did not happen all the time.   Much like T. rex vs Triceratops, it would have been very rare.  Plus, we have no proof mosasaurs hunted together.  I suppose it is an exciting scene to paint, though.

I have recently become fascinated by dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals from Australia and New Zealand, though.This would be a fun one, I think.
