How's it going? This is a photo from the recording of our hit single "Take Off."  Notice how Geddy is wearing his tuque.  The photographer was not, because he wasn't from Canada, eh.  It is too bad that we didn't make a promotional video for this song.  That would have been beauty.  Watching the boys try to play instruments while Geddy sings would be fun to see.  We never did a follow up to our hit single, because most people never even get to have one hit.  We didn't want to hog the spotlight, eh.

Bob and Doug Sing 12 Days of Christmas

Good day and welcome to the blog. Today's topic is Christmas and what is the best song. I believe this one is, eh. This is a very cute animated (sorta) version of the boys singing 12 Days from the album, eh. It was released almost 35 years ago- that's a long time for some hosers- but has been a classic since then. Right up there with Stairway to Heaven, eh.

I'll admit it- I'm not a huge Rush fan. I appreciate their musicianship (it's excellent, duh) but they just have never grabbed me as a band. I think of Kerry von Erich when I hear "Tom Sawyer" more than I ever think of Rush.

so here's the McKenzie Brother's "theatrical" movie eh. it's beauty, and done in just the right pathetic way to make it a classic in the same way "Plan 9" or "Robot Monster" is- too bad it was never finished.

so the topic for the day is the movie. the McKenzie Boys starred in their own movie way back when and it's beauty. even got tricked got some good actors to be in it as well, eh. this scene is slightly reminiscent of the Three Stooges court scene from "Disorder in the Court" but no way would they ever copy anyone else eh.
