Rest in Purrs, Emerald Sage

I said goodbye to my Emerald Sage on Tuesday.  She was the Queen of Finding Comfortable Spaces, and squawking at us.  That was her way of telling me to go to bed, or give her some wet food.  Her beautiful green eyes gave her the name Emerald, and Sage was her pound name.  She wasn't quite ten years old, but the kidney failure didn't care at all.  She was the sweetest cat I have had in my life and I will miss her every day.  Just like Dacya and TJ.  We never get them as long as we want, but they give us so much in return.  I wouldn't trade her for anything.

For the time being, we may be a single cat household.  I am open to a new kitty, but damn this never gets easier.  I really didn't want to write this out today, either. I love you, Emerald Sage.
