This show is really great.  We are nearly done with the series, and they are pulling out ALL the stops!

852. Ultraman Mebius 39-42, and 80!

Four great episode here!  Even the flower one is pretty darn good, though it is #4 in this list.

Ultra Father and Ultraman Mebius

I can hardly believe the entire series is subtitled and on youtube. I wish I had known this would happen. I'm also a little surprised it hasn't been taken down from TPS. Or whoever they are these days. But a lot of material is up on youtube that probably shouldn't be there.

Ultra Seven Then & Now

here's a fun little compilation of Ultra Seven from the 60s to the more recent Ultraman Mebius. it shows his transformations and various powers- neat to see how the effects have changed throughout the years, and yet they use the same basic ideas. and sound effects, those make it hold together very well.

Mebius & Jack vs. Deathrem

Ultraman Jack teams up with the youngest, and yet most powerful (at the time) Ultraman, Mebius to defeat Deathrem. I'm rusty on the previous aliens the various Ultras have fought (there's a lot) so I am not sure if this is one of Jack's foes from his series. Hideki Go rocks, though.

Ultraman 18: Brother from Another Planet

a strange radioactive mist drops on Tokyo.  the Science Patrol springs into action!  except for Fuji, of course.  shortly after, the Alien Zarab shows up and makes it disperse.  this makes him a hero in the eyes of many. 

Ultraman Mebius and the Ultra Brothers

I really enjoyed Ultraman Mebius' series.  nice to tie in the Showa Ultra series in a fun way.  this is a fan made video from the movie, which is pretty good, except for the megalo-titano-ultra monster at the end of it.  too much cg is not good.

Ultraman Mebius

after I finish up with the Mebius series (the last 6 episodes) I think I will start at the beginning and do my patented capsule reviews (only fitting for an Ultra series, don'tcha think?) of said series.

or... maybe I'll start with the original. sure, it's been done by tons of other people, but it's not like I don't enjoy watching the series'. then move on to any others I might be able to watch episodes of with subs or dubs. I have several here and there from most series, but I don't have full runs for most of them. good thing I can watch 'em at work during down times.

one of the great things about Mebius is returning to the original series of Ultras. the newer ones have been OK for the most part (I did quite enjoy Max) but seeing the original Ultras battle again, plus their human forms (especially getting to Leo and 80, who never seem to get much love elsewhere) is just fantastic.
