Wednesday is Missing

From Wiki- With the Mystery Machine stuck in mud, Mystery Inc. ends up becoming housekeepers for the Addams Family while Gomez and Morticia go on vacation to the Okefenokee Swamp. A giant vulture threatens the Addams house by demanding that their family leaves the property and Wednesday goes missing, so Scooby and the gang go to find her and stop the Vulture. Back to me:

Hex Girls show (we wish)

 Yes, I love the Hex Girls, for a wide variety of reasons.  I would go to this show.

Mystery, Inc in Xenorama (next year)

 

I have written about this magnificent series already, but am working on an issue dedicated to the series.  It has been fun so far, and I am also looking forward to watching the series for the third time. I am sure I will see even more fun stuff I have missed before.  I hope I remember to take notes as well, though the wiki pages on the series have tons of things in them.  But I want to be able to read them if and when I want to, rather than googling the info.  Sue me, I am old school.  Or just old, take your pick.

A... Scoobyverse?

 

This is not a real thing, but I kinda wish it was.  I enjoyed the Titans crossover with the Titans movie, they did some really clever bits, though I wish they had acknowledged all the other Titans that have been in the group.  Oops, I have digressed yet again.  Be that as it may, once again, this does not exist.  It could really work, though, since the two big bads would pretend to work together at first and cross universal boundaries.

Lost In Space- sorta

When this cartoon pilot first aired in 1973 or so, I was excited.  I have always enjoyed Lost In Space, and thought a cartoon version would be pretty cool.  Well, it was not exactly a continuation of the live action series, and it's not Space Family Robinson either, but it was a pretty fun mini-movie.  Having Jonathan Harris be there as Dr. Smith certainly helps.  He was a bit toned down from his 60s counterpart, but that guy would never fly in a kiddie cartoon.  The robot, or Robon as it was called, also looked very familiar.  This allows Smith to use his famous insults and names for the robot.

Mystery Solvers Club State Finals

In episode #14 of Mystery, Incorporated (yes, I love this Scooby Doo show) the gang are headed to the Mystery Solvers Club State finals.  Scooby is sick, and they are going without him, since he is just the sidekick.  Shaggy can't believe there are more clubs like theirs out there. Turns out there are at least three others in Crystal Cove for the finals.  I didn't see Goober and the Ghost Chasers or Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kids,  but it was a pretty packed cast already.  Many shenanigans happen between the "sidekicks" of The Funky Phantom (and his cat, Boo), Captain Caveman, Jabberjaw, Speed Buggy and the villain Infernicus before everything is solved.

Mystery Incorporated, the finale

This is easily the best Scooby series, even better than the first series (which was the best, despite the team up with Josie and the Pussycats).  This one really does a good job with everything, and the gang finally does get to face down a supernatural entity.  I mean, I know there were some series where they fought ghosts and such, but I've never seen those.  So as far as I know, it's the first time.  There are also a lot of fun cameos in this second season as well, some obvious, some subtle.  We'll talk about them... now!

Battle of the Humongunauts

The first 13 episodes of "Mystery, Inc" are all I have to watch, and I'm finished with them.  It's a very enjoyable series, probably the best Scooby series that has ever been produced.  Granted, that's not too difficult to accomplish, since most of the Scooby series have been crap.  I think I may have mentioned that before, here and there.  I watched a lot of them out of habit, since it didn't matter the name of the series, they were almost ALL Scooby clones.  Now, I will make an exception for Josie and the Pussycats, but I may also be a bit biased.
