Ah yes, the introduction of Susie Derkins (almost). Watterson has stated he regretted the earliest "do they like each other" strips, but most artists say things like that about their early work. Their relationship changed quickly, but was still a lot of fun for the entire run.
Also, YouTube did NOT like my Prince Planet episode- no one but me could view it. Still learning!
