Epic Collection- X-Men: Second Genesis

From the back cover blurb- With the original X-Men captured, Professor X recruits an all-new, all-different team to take on the mantle of the Uncanny X-Men! Including Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Banshee, Sunfire and Thunderbird, this new international cast redefined super hero teams forever. The transition from old team to new won't come easy, though: Wolverine and Cyclops clash! X-Man battles X-Man! Death and rebirth visit the team! And an old nemesis returns! Collecting GIANT-SIZE X-MEN #1; X-MEN (1963) #94-110; MARVEL TEAM-UP (1972) #53, #69-70 and ANNUAL #1; IRON FIST (1975) #14-15; and material from F.O.O.M. #10.

By 1974, The X-Men had been canceled... twice.  The first time was after their original run ended, then the second time was when they had gone to reprints.  They were barely popular enough to last 66 issues, until 1970.  The next batch of issues were all reprints, until 1975, when the All New All Different X-Men showed up in Giant Size X-Men #1.  The series started up at issue #94, as a bi-monthly book.  Imagine that.  It took this book three years to become a monthly issue.

This collection features all those stories.  I had read most of them, since I started collecting The X-Men in earnest at issue #104.  But the team ups and the Iron Fist stories were new to me.  I have that issue of FOOM in my collection, but it is rather worn.  Marvel should reprint them!
