We here at Xenorama have started a podcast called The X7 Adventures.  This idea has been percolating for some time now, but the time has finally come to pull the trigger.  We have two episodes (and an older one from a time long ago) up.  We know that everyone does have a podcast these days, but they come and go like the wind.  It takes time and energy to produce one.  Currently, ours is very much like a live studio recording, meaning that while we have notes, we also might make an occasional slip up.  We will correct it, but at this time our equipment is very basic.  Depending on what happens, we may improve that in the future.  Mostly we are doing some deeper dives into the same things you see here.

Sven- The Night Strangler (1973)

it's a worthy sequel.  Carl is in the northwest, in Seattle, WA.  He is still working for Tony, and is still running into strange things.  Women start getting killed and drained of small amounts of blood.  Their necks are being crushed, which no normal human can do.  The more Kolchak digs into the story, the stranger and more dangerous it gets.  It leads him to old Seattle which is underneath new Seattle.  There he finds Dr. Malcolm Richards, who has been alive since the 19th century.  He is still working on his elixir to make people immortal, but he needs the fresh blood of women.  Carl foils him, the police rush in and see Richards disintegrate.  Of course, Carl's story is ruined, both he and Tony get fired, and along with Louise, they all head to New York City and a new life.

The hit FF series

This is interesting.  I did not realize 26 episodes made for a hit show.  I never once saw these in the grocery store, though to be fair I was always at the comic book rack, looking for a new issue.  Or deciding what book to buy with my limited funds.  Had I gotten some of these, I would bet the cards I got were of HERBIE, and that would have annoyed me greatly.  There are cards with the Human Torch in there as well. Upon further review, it appears as if this is actually the 90s cartoon.  Ima leave some of the original post here, to prove I am only human.

Loki S. 2 04- Heart of the TVA

IN WHICH we find out that He Who Remains (Kang) has wiped Ravonna's memory and took over the TVA.  A lot of people get de-rezzed, and Miss Minutes goes nuts, then herself gets de-rezzed.  She leaves behind a cryptic warning for Victor and his future.  Victor and OB meet each other, and turn into fanboys for each other.  Ravonna does mean things, and the whole timeline goes kablooey at the end of the episode.  Also, Loki mentions his brother and their past.

Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars!

Bucky O'Hare and his S.P.A.C.E. agents are the first (and only) ship battling space Toads as they try to take over the Aniverse.  Bucky ends up causing more people to rebel against the Toads and their computer leader Complex over the course of the series.  A pre-teenage genius, WIlly DuWitt manages to create a cross-dimensional photon accelerator.  This allows him to become the Righteous Indignation's chief engineer.  The rest of the crew consists of a duck, a cat, a baboon and an android.  The series does wrap up at the end, with a finale which was co-written by Neal Adams.  The toy line did not take off and no more episodes were produced.

HOTW - the Phantom Lady

From WIki- Sandra Knight assumed the identity of Phantom Lady in a costume consisting of a green cape and the equivalent of a one-piece yellow swimsuit. She used a "black light projector", a device which allowed her to blind her enemies and make herself invisible. She drove a car whose headlights also projected black light when necessary. She was sometimes assisted by her fiance, Donald Borden, an agent of the U.S. State Department.

Robot Monster Blu Ray

Just got this Saturday.  I love this movie.  I never saw it on the television growing up.  Apparently, even Channel 2 didn't ever show it, though they showed stuff like Zontar, The Thing from Venus.  This movie sure is more entertaining than that one.  There is an excellent book called Robot Monster Diaries, and it goes into the details of how it got made into a 3D movie.  I highly recommend it, by the way.  The author goes into length on how it will probably never get released as a 3D print again, due to some rights issues.  The Image disc was just fine for what it was, and I may keep it just because it is probably rare now.  At least,as rare as such things can be in this day and age.  It looks like that disc was released in 2000!

Sven -The Night Stalker

This was a good movie. Carl Kolchack is a reporter in Las Vegas.  He does not have a great reputation, but he gets the job done.  A strange serious of murders sets him on an unusual path.  All the bodies have been drained of blood.  His girlfriend Gail mentions vampires, so off Carl goes down a mythic path.  He can't convince anyone, but he soldiers on.  He eventually meets Janos Skorzeny and destroys him, with the help of a cross and the sun.  Naturally, the authorities don't want to admit the existence of vampires so they kill his story and order him out of town.   Gail has already been sent out of town as an "undesirable element."  Carl records his story on his tape recorder, thinking no one will ever believe him.  Of course, one only encounters something this strange once in a lifetime, right?

Loki s.2 03- 1893

 IN WHICH Loki and Mobius travel back in time to find Miss Minutes and Rayvonna.  They need Miss Minutes so OB can access the Temporal Loom.  It is stable, but still needs to be repaired.  They find Victor Timely (last seen in Quatumania) who is a variant of Kang.  The whole thing is part of a plan by He Who Remains.  Naturally, Silvie shows up, ready to kill Victor.
