I actually owned one of these movies, and saw two more of them. Back in the day, these were the only way to own even a portion of a movie. And they were expensive- $8-$10 for 11 minutes of movie. In today's movie, that equals over $50. You can buy at least 2-3 movies for that much money, and most of those would have an hour or two of extras on them. And be the complete film! It is really amazing how times have changed.I am happy I can see these movies almost any time I want, but sometimes I miss getting ready to watch a movie at 1:00 AM. There was a ritual to it, whether you would sleep a couple hours and get up, or play games to stay up. It was fun. But I am getting to old for that crud these days.
