We here at Xenorama love WKRP in Cincinnati. We have been watching the box set from Shout! Factory, which is great, as 95% of the music has been restored and the episodes are the 25 minute original broadcasts. So while watching this episode last night we were gobsmacked to see a different ending to this episode. Apparently the one on the set was originally shot, but was changed at some point to the one that has been seen for years in syndication. It was like seeing a new episode last night. Here is the "happy ending" that most people prefer.
