Rubber Rodeo was a band from Rhode Island. They were extant from 1980 to 1989, the entire 80s. This is from their first EP, and was released in 1981, long before the Dolly Parton worship that is alive and well today. Dolly does deserve it, don't get me wrong. They managed to add two minutes to her song, which is rather impressive. I really like this version.
